Bella Viva Orchards has been a Central Valley staple for many generations. They produce and process amazing fruits and nuts while they are fresh and ripe off of the trees and lock in that amazing flavor. They also ship fresh fruit when it is in season. You can check the site for what is currently shipping. I was sent a fabulous selection of their dried fruits and nuts to review for you.

When the box with the Eco Fruit Tote in it arrived, I was amazed at the awesome selection of local favorites I would get to sample for you. My hubby could not wait to dive in and we all grabbed our favorites! Cashews, Peaches, Almonds, Prunes and Persimmons. Those were gone in a flash. My son loves seedless Flame Grapes so he was off with the Raisins and Pears. I love Blueberries and never had any dried before so I wanted those first then I went on to the organic Peaches and the Pulots.

Over the next week or so, we managed to taste each product that was sent and the first thing that struck me is how fresh they all were. Yes they are dried, but they are so moist and succulent. The Blueberries I added to my yogurt in the mornings. The hubby is going to make some muffins this week and add in some chopped Apricots and Raisins. The nuts are crisp, full size and delicious. We are so spoiled here in the Salad Bowl – maybe we should call our area the Fruit Bowl
