My Review: The generous folks over at Apostolic Clothing sent me a gorgeous Long Flowing Chiffon & Lace Skirt to review for all of you. If you love the Maxi Skirt, you will love this skirt and it’s available in 2 classic shades (black or ivory).
The skirt has a wide elastic waistband with a drawstring closure but the drawstring is not really functional, more for a decorative look. This skirt is a pull-on/pull-off type of style so there are no zippers or snaps to mess with. The waistband is done in a camel color which adds a nice color contrast to the ivory.
The skirt is made up of 2 layers…the inner slip layer and then the outer lace layer. You do not need to wear a slip underneath it all all thanks to the attached inner slip. The attached slip underneath is about 6″ shorter in length than the outer lace layer and I really like that as it shows just a tiny bit of skin at the bottom of the skirt.
The fabrication is a Polyester & Rayon blend so it will need to be dry cleaned. (although I hand washed mine and it was fine). The lacy layer of the skirt is done in tiers which is really pretty and figure-flattering on the body. I love how girlie this skirt looks but yet…very classy looking too!
This is a great skirt that you can wear dressed-up to work, to church or to a special event or dress it down for a leisure day. You can wear it with heels, sandals or even with a pair of flip-flops!
