My son is over 16 now and he has a lot of friends that are all in the same age bracket of 18-20 years old. Many of these kids are choosing to go into the military and we have 3 close guys that are all in the Army and did their basic one right after the other.
My girlfriend’s son is one of them and has finished his job training and is now on his way to his post. He did get a chance to swing by the house and say hello and goodbye and hang out with us for a bit before leaving this weekend. Here is a great pic of my son on the right and his buddy. It makes me nervous with these kids all joining up so young, but I know they will do great and they all are loving it so far.
