I am really excited about this next review that we did for all of you because I can remember playing with Lincoln Logs when I was a child. When my daughter was a little girl she had 2 Lincoln Log sets and now that I am a grandmother, I was super excited to give this set that I got for the review to my little 3 year old grand-daughter.
Lincoln Logs have been around since 1916 and delighting millions of children with creative playtime for a very long time. Since their inception, they have been made with real wood logs!
Today we are reviewing the Lincoln Logs White River Ranch building play set for all of you. This set is for ages 3 and up, and comes with 90 pieces. The set includes 79 wooden logs, 1 cowboy figure, 1 horse figure, 1 dog figure, 1 cow figure, 1 hay bale, 1 door, 1 door frame, 1 gable roof, 1 add-on roof, 1 trough, 1 flag and instructions. Everything comes nicely packaged in a storage box.
What I have always loved with Lincoln Logs is that you build multiple things over and over again. It’s a great way to get the creative juices going in your child and a great way for them to build hand-to-eye coordination. The box has really cool graphics on it and I love that they show you in color different variations that you can build of the ranch with just this one building set!
My grand-wee-one have been having a ball with this set all week long! They have built all kinds of ranches and houses with this set and she has sat and played with the set for hours at a time. You can use this set with any of the Lincoln Log sets that you may already own. It’s a great stand-alone set or purchase it and add it onto other sets.
I just love Lincoln Logs, always have and always will! If you don’t have small children but need to purchase a gift for a small child, Lincoln Logs is the classic hot gift to give! You can check out their web site to see all kinds of Lincoln Log building sets that any child would love to receive!
