I am really irritated today so my blog post is more like a vent! I just have to get it off my chest today and it is directed to all those sales people who love to run around knocking on people’s doors, trying to sell them something.
I am all for people making an honest living, but….I get really IRKED OFF when sales people come knocking on my door and want to sell me something where there is a BIG OLD SIGN at the end of our driveway that says:
“No Soliciting, No Loitering, No Trespassing, Violators will be Prosecuted.”
Do these folks think this doesn’t apply to them? Can they not read? What the heck is their problem? Should I buy them contacts and eyeglasses or what? Should I get a billboard sized sign? Geesh!
I don’t like to be solicited at my home any time of the day, but really despise it when they come a knocking on a weekend! What the heck? Are you kidding me?
I don’t care if you are peddling dog food, encyclopedias, breath mints, toilet paper, tampons, rotten meat or tree bark….if my sign says NO SOLICITING…that is what it means!
Oh my gosh, I am so irritated that these sales people keep coming to our door! Seriously, we get 2-3 of them a week and they completely ignore our sign!
Today I told them to get off our property and that if they ever came back I would have them arrested for trespassing and this idiot actually told me to “Quit being a b*tch”. oh my! Does he think I will change my mind and buy something from him after calling me a b*tch? Seriously?????
Needless to say, I called the cops and had the idiot banned from our property. I just don’t understand what is up with all of these sales people invading my personal space these days! ugh!
Thanks ladies for the comments! I am just FED up with it all as it’s a pretty large sign and sits out in the open but these fools think it doesn’t apply to them!
Wow, that’s not cool especially since you have the sign saying that you are not interested! I live in the city so we don’t get many solicitors..i think they are too afraid!
We do get random neighborhood teens wanting to cut our grass/shovel snow,no matter how short/little the grass or snow is.We always laugh because they want big bucks these days like $15-20 for about 15-20 min worth of work.
