K’NEX is a children’s toy company that I am very familiar with since I have many kids in my family who request that we purchase K’NEX brand construction and building toys, for their Birthday and Holiday gifts. I have purchased at least 20 sets of their fabulous building toys just in the past 2 years alone.
K’NEX has building toys for almost all of the age groups (Preschool up to Adult). Yes, even adults like my husband enjoy playing with the K’NEX line of toys! Furthermore, K’NEX is perfect for both boys and girls who love to construct and build things.
My Review: The great folks over at K’NEX sent us their new TopGear Stig’s Attack Copter/Off Roader Building Set to review for all of you. This particular K’NEX building set is for children ages 7 and up.
The building set comes with 277 pieces to build an attack helicopter and an off road vehicle. It also comes with a few missile targets since the attack helicopter can fire “missiles” at and through the targets. I appreciate that the building set comes with a helicopter pilot figure and a off-road car driver figure so that your kids can really play with this set.
My husband invited my nephew C over for a “play date” with him and they had a blast with this particular K’NEX building set. Out of all of the sets we have reviewed this past week, this one was C’s favorite! There is just something about helicopters and off-road vehicles that little boys love! (oh, and hubbies too!).
For over 2 hours the “guys” played with this building set. They would build the vehicles and then take them apart and build new ones. The building set does come along with some instructions with alternatives for building so it was fun to see the guys build those and to come up with their own designs too!
We really enjoyed this set and my nephew C was more than happy to take the box back home with him. He has always loved the K’NEX building sets and was pretty stoked about adding this set to his massive K’NEX collection.
If you need an upcoming birthday gift for a young boy or just a gift to keep your kids busy this summer, K’NEX building sets are the way to go! They are super easy to build and provide hours upon hours of creative building fun!
