Synopsis: Upon discovering her husband’s infidelity, Sandy (Zeta-Jones) and her two kids move from the suburbs to pursue a new life in the big city. There she meets Aram (Bartha), a local coffee shop employee whose wife only married him as a means to getting her green card. The two strike up a friendship which eventually evolves into something more. But it isn’t long before they’re face with the big question – “Is this real or just a rebound?”
This DVD movie features the electrifying chemistry between Zeta-Jones and Bartha. The Rebound also features fantastic supporting performances from Lynn Whitfield (Madea’s Family Reunion), John Schneider (The Dukes of Hazzard), and music legend Art Garfunkel. Our Review: A few nights ago I scheduled a romantic date night at home with the hubby and prepared a nice candlelit meal for the two of us. After dinner was over we sat down to watch this movie together. He loves comedy and I love action films, so I wasn’t sure if I would like this romantic comedy.
The movie has an approximate running time of 95 minutes. Once the movie was over we both agreed that it was a GREAT MOVIE! Zeta-Jones who plays Sandy in the movie is absolutely hysterical at times and I love the self-confidence that just oozes from her “most of the time.” Bartha who plays Aram in the movie is super funny too and ladies…he makes for some ‘great’ eye candy, if you know what I mean! Hubby and I really enjoyed the movie and are going to watch it again next week because we loved it so much! We think you all would love it and it makes the PERFECT “date-night” movie at your house too!
