Last year my husband and I purchased a beautiful new mailbox for our rental home and we were really happy with it. We loved that it was done in a Victorian style and could hold a lot of mail.
Well, a few nights ago our tenant called us up to tell us that during the night before a car must of hit the street side mailbox and completely destroyed it. I was really shocked that this “bad” driver didn’t stop and just kept on going.
So, last weekend my hubby and I headed out to some local home and garden stores to look for new mailboxes and we couldn’t find any that we liked. They were all way too plain or way too expensive. After wasting 4 1/2 hours of our time, we decided to just go home and to shop online.
We spent a total of 15 minutes searching online and came across an online store that sells a lot of residential mailboxes. What we like about this particular store is that they have a vast selection of mailbox styles available and they have affordable prices. We also like that they sell mailbox posts and newspaper holders too.
I love it when I can get online and find what I need quickly and easily. Online shopping is such a huge time saver for me and pretty soon, I will just avoid the offline stores altogether. In addition, I often find that items I purchase online are cheaper than the ones in my local stores.
Anyway, we did file a police report, but I highly doubt they will catch the hit and run driver who ran over our old mailbox. Hopefully, someone will run over that dude’s mailbox and just drive away.
