Rascal Flatts Changed Music CD – Review
Country Music super group Rascal Flatts’ newest album, Changed, hits stores on April 3rd. The trio, comprised of singer Gary LeVox, bassist Jay DeMarcus and guitarist Joe Don Rooney, have evolved after being in the spotlight as some of country music’s biggest superstars.
Rascal Flatts is the most awarded Country group of the past decade, earning over 40 trophies from the ACAs, ACMs, AMAs, CMAs, People’s Choice Awards and more. As one of the hottest-selling acts on tour in any genre, they’ve sold over 6 million concert tickets, and counting. The band is performing across the country on their “Thaw Out Tour”, which earned a slot on CMTs “Top Tours of 2012.” On June 15th, 2012 they will kick off a new summer tour, Farmers Insurance presents, “The American Band Tour” with Little Big Town, Eli Young Band and Edens Edge. I was sent a copy of the new Rascal Flatts “Changed” CD to review for all of you. I am not a huge Country fan at all, but my husband is! This new CD includes 11 tracks which are as follows:
(1.) Changed (2.) Banjo (3.) Hot in Here (4.) Come Wake Me Up (5.) She’s Leaving (6.) Let It Hurt (7.) Lovin’ Me (8.) Hurry Baby (9.) Sunrise (10.) Great Big Love (11.) A Little Home.
Last night we had some family and friends over for dinner so we played the new Rascal Flatts CD for them. Most of them are big Country music fans so we knew they would enjoy listening to it. We listened to all 11 of the tracks and then I polled my guests to see which song was their favorite. Most of the women at our little dinner party loved the “Lovin’ Me” track and most of the men loved “Changed” which is the title track. Although we had favorites, I must admit, the entire CD is fantastic!
If you love Country Music or know someone who does, this Rascal Flatts CD would be perfect for anyone who enjoys this type of music. Hubby is pretty happy this week to have the new Rascal Flatts CD in his music collection and highly recommends that you all check it out!
