My Review: The great folks over at SunglassReplicas.com sent me a pair of their Rimless Shield Sunglasses to review for all of you. These sunglasses are super stylish and right on trend for spring and summer 2012.
This style of sunglasses are available in 3 beautiful color combinations: Black Silver/Black, Tortoise Gold/Amber and Black Silver/Blue. The pair that I am reviewing is the Black Silver/Black combination.
The sunglasses offer 100% UV400 Protection are done in a shield style which gives you a lot of nice eye coverage. I am all about protecting my eyes so I love the shield style. The sunglasses are primarily made of light-weight plastic except for the DG logo near each temple. The lens are totally rimless so it makes them light-weight and they sit comfortably on your face.
During the warmer spring months and those hot summer months I like light-weight sunglasses and these are definitely that! The nose piece is super comfortable and doesn’t pinch your nose at all. I love that the lens are tinted but not overly dark so people can still see the color of my eyes once they are up close & personal with me. They fit perfectly on me and I think they look very flattering on me too!
My mother stopped in a few days ago and tried to “walk off” with my new sunglasses but thankfully, I was paying attention and didn’t let her get out the door!
