OdoBan Odor EliminatorToday I would like to introduce you to the versatile cleaning product called OdoBan which eliminates odors on a wide variety of surfaces, as well as from the air. This product is an industrial liquid odor eliminator that leaves no nasty residues and has a variety of uses.

The OdoBan cleans, disinfects, sanitizes and deodorizes all precleaned hard, nonporous household surfaces. The product eliminates unpleasant odors on washable surfaces such as upholstery, carpets, bedding, shows, walls and floors while leaving a fresh clean scent. It can be used as an air freshener, fabric & laundry refresher and will help to control the growth of mold and mildew.

You can purchase the convenient, ready-to-use formula or the concentrate will make up to 32 gallons of OdoBan when it has been mixed with regular tap water.

My Review: My husband and I do a lot of cooking and often times we are cooking smelly things like fish, onions and/or garlic. You all know how badly those types of food items can really stink up your house for days so we decided to put the OdoBan to the test one evening after grilling some fish. After dinner I lightly sprayed the OdoBan through my entire downstairs which smelled of fish and garlic. After about 10-15 minutes we were pleasantly surprised that we could no longer smell the stinky food smells! yeah!

Since the product also claims to help control mold & mildew we decided to put it to the test on our cement patio wall that had some mold starting to grow from all of the rain we have been receiving. I first took my mop and cleaned the cement surface and then sprayed the OdoBan directly onto the cement surface and left it air dry. According to the directions, I should apply it again every 7 days to help stop the recurrence of mold. I went and checked the surface exactly 1 week later and guess what? Absolutely no mold! yeah! I am going to keep applying that as I absolutely hate mold!

My next test was using it as a laundry refresher because hubby came home one evening last week filthy dirty from installing a new hot water heater for a client. His uniform really stunk and was dirty beyond belief. I threw it into the washer machine with my normal detergent. After the first rinse cycle was done I stopped the machine and took his wet uniform out. I gave it a few spritzes of the OdoBan and threw it back into the washer machine to finish laundering. Once it was done, threw it into the dryer and then came my sniff test. I swear to you all now…his uniform smelled fresh and clean…no stinky odors! yeah!

We love the OdoBan and I can see why thousands of other customers love this product too! Just a word of caution though…you do need to be careful when using this product around children and pets so it’s best to do your cleaning when they are all outside or away for the afternoon.
