K’NEX is a children’s toy company that I am very familiar with since I have many kids in my family who request that we purchase K’NEX brand construction and building toys, for their Birthday and Holiday gifts. I have purchased at least 20 sets of their fabulous building toys just in the past 2 years alone.
K’NEX has building toys for almost all of the age groups (Preschool up to Adult). Yes, even adults like my husband enjoy playing with the K’NEX line of toys! Furthermore, K’NEX is perfect for both boys and girls who love to construct and build things.
My Review: The great folks over at K’NEX sent us 2 building sets to review for all of you and both sets are from their 20th Anniversary line of products. These building sets are made for kids ages 7 and up.
The Rally Sport Racer Building Set has 113 pieces in it including the classic K’NEX rods and connectors. It is made in the U.S.A. and the box will show your child 3 easy-to-build variations of the vehicle (a speed racer, a muscle car and a pickup truck). The building set only costs $13.99 so it’s extremely affordable and give your child hours upon hours of creative building fun!
I have a 9 year old nephew who absolutely LOVES the K’NEX building sets, so I invited him down for a play date with my husband. When he walked in and saw 2 new K’NEX building sets sitting on my table, his eyes lit up like saucers! Seriously, he ran over to my table and immediately started building the vehicles. They first made the rally sport racer, then the pickup truck and finally the muscle car. The two of them had a blast!
The Strike Force Bomber Building Set has 137 pieces in it including the classic K’NEX rods and connectors. It is made in the U.S.A. and the box will show your child 3 easy-to-build variations of the airplanes that they can build. (bomber jet, drone and the fighter jet). The building set only costs $13.99 so it makes an affordable kid’s gift!
When my nephew was done playing with the first set, he immediately got busy with this set. He first built the fighter jet, then the drone and finally the bomber jet. He is really good with building things and it only took him an hour to assemble all 3 of the planes. Hubby and C had a great time with this building set too and before it was all over, they had combined both sets together and had a blast constructing their own silly designs! Way too much fun! hahaha!
These building sets are super cool. You can buy just one or buy several and mix and match all of the pieces together and let your child’s creative mind create something new. My nephew C loved both of these sets so much that I left him take them home with him. My SIL Tracy called me a few days later and told me that these 2 sets are now his favorite treasured toys! yeah!
