Today I would like to introduce you to the skin care company called Joon who makes a variety of skin care and bath & body products, for young girls 6-12 years of age. The products made by Joon are all-natural, paraben-free, phthalate-free, no artificial colors or dyes and there are no sodium lauryl sulfates in any of their products. These are products you can be proud to give to your young girl or tween.
My Review: My niece is 10 years old and spends a lot of time with me. Just like any other little girl, she is interested in using skin care products, bath & body products and various other beauty products, even at her young age. I decided to invite Jenna over for a spa-pampering date with me so that we could spend some time together and to test out the products I was sent for the review.
First up, the Natural Beauty Body Wash by Joon. The body wash comes in a 8 fl. oz. bottle and is lightly scented in a fresh apricot & zippy mint scent. I sent Jenna into the shower and gave her a new loofah sponge and she got busy testing out the product. Once she was done showering, she came out to tell me that she loved it! She said that it lathers up really nicely and that it had a light fruity mint scent. She said she didn’t smell apricots…just a fruity mint scent. She said that she liked that it didn’t leave a greasy or oily film on her body and that it rinsed away cleanly.
After her shower she used the Natural Beauty Sunshine Sparkle Body Cream by Joon. The body cream comes in a 6 fl. oz. bottle and is lightly scented with a sweet vanilla & flower petal scent. If you ask me, I think the product has more of the consistency of a thicker lotion than a cream. She applied the sparkle body cream to both of her arms and legs. Jenna loved the light floral scent to this body cream and appreciated that it absorbed quickly. She said she doesn’t like lotions or creams that take an hour to rub in! LOL She gives it a huge thumbs up!
The final product that Jenna got to review is the Natural Beauty Happy Face Cream with SPF 15 by Joon. This is a naturally unscented face cream that has natural sunscreen protection in it. Since Jenna had just showered she didn’t need to wash her face so she just applied about a dime sized amount all over her face. (they recommend applying it to a clean face). This product is definitely of a cream consistency and did absorb quickly and easily for her. Her face looked moisturized and had no stickiness or irritation from using the product at all.
Jenna loved all 3 products that she got to try out from Joon! Matter of fact, she told me that for her Birthday in August that she wants me (her Auntie) to buy her more Joon products! yeah! I love it when I can give her all-natural girly-girl products to use, instead of those chemical-laden products you find in most retail stores.
