Today I would like to tell you all about the California Raisins “Let’s Keep It Real Healthy Snack Challenge” and I am hoping that all of you will participate along with me and my family.
I must admit, we are pretty healthy eaters here in my home, except for when it comes to snacking! We do a great job at breakfast, lunch and dinner, but snack time is a different story!
California Raisins is sponsoring the Let’s Keep It Real Healthy Snack Challenge and they are asking all participants to eat healthy snacks for one week. You can sign up for the Let’s Keep It Real Healthy Snack Challenge on Facebook and you can be automatically entered to win one of five prize packs that include $1,000 in cash and other goodies to get your healthy snacking on.
Doesn’t that sound like fun? Not only will it be fun, but you will be helping your family to snack on healthier snacks instead of sugary snacks that they don’t need. Here in our home we love raisins and use them in a variety of ways. We like to toss them in our breakfast cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, ice cream, granola mixes and I love to bake with them when I make cookies, raisin bread or even a homemade fruit cake. Raisins are so yummy and you can use them in a wide variety of ways.
