Today I would like to introduce you to the beauty company called “butter LONDON” who has built their reputation on cutting edge colour in their beautiful nail lacquers. This season butter LONDON will expand their product line with the launch of LIPPY, a range of long-wearing, liquid lipsticks in shades to match their famous nail lacquers.
The company sent me 2 of their LIPPY lip glosses and 2 of their long-wearing nail lacquers to review for all of you.
The Lippy Lip Glosses are all long-wearing, lacquer-like lip glosses that are richly colored and heavily pigmented to give you the coverage and color that you need. They do not contain any parabens, petroleum, phthalates, sulphates or bismuth.
The 2 colors that I received for the review are: Trout Pout (medium shade of pink) and Teddy Girl (light shade of pink). You can find a better description of the colors directly on their web site. They come packaged in really neat square shaped glass lip gloss tubes and they have your classic sponge-tip applicator, so they are super easy to apply. Retail Value $17.00 each.
For the past few days I have been wearing both of these lip glosses. I like the Teddy Girl color for my daytime use and when I want a deeper shade in the evening, I have been using the Trout Pout. What I love about these lip glosses is that they are not sticky or gooey. They apply nicely, look beautiful and have long-lasting staying power.
The 3 Free Nail Lacquers that I received are in the same colors (Trout Pout) and (Teddy Girl). The 3 Free Nail Lacquers are non-toxic and don’t contain any harmful chemicals like Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, or Parabens.
I decided to use the nail lacquers on my toes and I have to admit to all of you, the colors are beautiful but the consistency of the product is a tad too runny for my liking. I did have to apply 2 full coats to get good coverage. Other than that, they are nice. Retail Value $14.00.
