Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Artisana Organic Foods who is devoted to making unique, superior, organic products. The company makes a line of organic nut butters in a variety of delicious tasting flavors, many of which we are reviewing for you today.
For the review, we received 2 jars of their organic nut butters: Organic Raw Cashew Butter and Organic Raw Pecan Butter. We also received several squeeze packs: Organic Raw Cacao Bliss, Organic Raw Macadamia Butter, Organic Raw Almond Butter, Organic Raw Walnut Butter, Organic Raw Coconut Butter and Organic Raw Coconut Oil.
First up is the Organic Raw Cashew Butter in an 8 oz. jar. This is a naturally sweet cashew butter with a creamy and smooth texture. You can use it is smoothies, sauces, desserts and more. It has ONLY one ingredient: Organic Raw Cashews. My hubby loves putting nut butters on his breakfast toast, toasted bagels and dinner rolls and that is exactly how he used this declious organic cashew butter. In a matter of 11 days, he had the entire jar gone! Once he used up all of the Cashew Butter, he used a squeeze pack of organic Walnut Butter on his dinner roll and loved that flavor too!
Next up is the Organic Raw Pecan Butter in an 8 oz. jar. This organic pecan butter has a rich and intense flavor with a smooth and creamy texture. It is made from a blend of Organic Raw Pecans and Organic Raw Cashews, so those are the only 2 ingredients in this wonderful nut butter. I love to bake cookies so I used my favorite peanut butter cookie recipe and replaced 4 tablespoons of the peanut butter with this pecan butter (along with the required peanut butter) and baked a batch of cookies. I had never thought about using a nut butter in a cookie recipe but I am so glad that I did! Our cookies were delicious and had a nice nutty, intense flavor to them. Next time around, going to increase the pecan butter into the batter even more!
Finally, the company sent me a huge stack of their nut butter squeeze packs in a variety of flavors (mentioned above) and my hubby, daughter and mother have been snagging those and taking them in their lunch boxes. They have been using them to make nut butter & jelly sandwiches, spreading them onto crackers and even dunking some hard pretzels into the nut butter as a dip. yeah! The family loves them!
All of the Organic Raw Nut Butters that we got to try out were absolutely delicious. There wasn’t any that we didn’t like! They all had a wonderful taste to them and a nice smooth & creamy texture. My hubby’s favorite flavor was the Cashew Butter, mine was the Pecan Butter and my mom absolutely loved the Almond Butter.
