Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Pacsafe who makes a wonderful line of anti-theft travel gear; handbags, purses, digi pouches, anti-theft backpacks, shoulder bags, wallets, laptop bags, day bags, etc. All of the Pacsafe travel products feature various anti-theft deterrents.
My Review: The generous folks over at Pacsafe sent me their Anti-Theft Handbag to review for all of you. (model: SlingSafe 250 GII). The handbag is available in 3 color choices: Black, Cypress and Sky Blue . It measures 15″ by 8.7″ by 4.3″ in size so it will really hold a lot of stuff! The strap is adjustable and measures 27.6″ in length up to 49.2″ in length.

The handbag has 5 anti-theft deterrents which I will explain in more detail.
• Outsmart Bag Slashers ExoMesh SlashGuards – Body panels of the bag have built-in stainless steel wire mesh panels which prevents contents falling out if the bag is cut by a thief.
• Outsmart Strap Slashers Slashproof CarrySafe Strap – The shoulder strap is reinforced with stainless steel wire which prevents it being easily cut so that the bag can’t be easily taken by a thief.
• Outsmart Pickpockets Smart Zipper Security – Zipper pullers can be attached to discreet security hooks to prevent pickpockets reaching into your bag.
• Outsmart Bag Snatchers Turn & Lock Security Hook – The shoulder strap has a releasable security hook at one end that allows you to attach the strap to a fixture (ex. table or chair), to stop thieves from easily walking off with your bag.
• Outsmart Identity Thieves RFIDsafe Blocking Pocket – Special blocking material prevents high tech identity thieves from downloading & stealing personal information stored on micro chips in your passport & credit cards.
The front of the handbag has a nice sized zipper closure compartment which is great for storing items that you don’t want to be overly secured. The bag has a main top-entry compartment and inside that large compartment you will find a small back walled zipper closure pocket, a pocket for your cell phone and a pocket that would be great for holding your passport, checkbook, wallet, etc. The rest of this compartment is where you would put your other “girl” items that you like to carry with you.

The entire bag is beautifully lined in a gray colored fabric with a tiny polka dot print. I love that lining as I can see everything in my bag, quickly and easily. The bag is very light-weight and I appreciate that because when I am traveling, the last thing I need is to drag around a heavy handbag.
