Yummy Frozen Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

Frozen Peanut Butter Pie RecipeI love making a variety of delicious pies for my family so today I thought I would share one of my favorite pie recipes with all of you. Normally little kids are not big pie eaters but they do love peanut butter so I think if you have kids they will enjoy this recipe too!

Frozen Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

1 (3 oz.) block cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioner’s sugar (10X sugar)
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter (not chunky)
1/2 cup whole milk
10 oz. container whipped topping, thawed
1 baked pie crust
(optional) 1/4 cup chopped peanuts

In a large bowl beat the block of cream cheese with an electric mixer until soft and fluffy. Stir in the confectioner’s sugar and the peanut butter and beat until all ingredients are well combined. Pour in the 1/2 cup of milk and beat again. Using a silicone spatula, fold in the whipped topping until all ingredients are combined. Spoon the pie filling into a baked pie crust (pie shell) and place finely chopped peanuts on top. (If desired or completely omit the peanut topping).

Cover the pie and place in your freezer for at least 2 hours. You want to remove the pie from the freezer about 20-30 minutes before serving.
