Your Favorite Marshmallow Peeps Candy Flavors

How many of you enjoy eating those soft and squishy marshmallow Peeps candies? I know they’re a big hit with our family. Marshmallow Peeps are the #1 candy on my children’s Easter basket wish list every year. That’s right, they would rather eat those than chocolate candy! 

Back in the good old days when I was a kid they only came in one flavor in about 3 different colors. The past several years Peeps has started releasing limited edition flavors. My kids like the Cotton Candy, Birthday Cake and Watermelon flavors…although they can be hard to find. They will eat them straight from the package or toss one into a mug of hot cocoa to melt. 

A local chocolate shop will take the marshmallow Peeps candy and dip them into melted milk or dark chocolate and pop a wooden stick in the middle…making them essentially into lollipops. My kids go crazy for those too! Last week I baked a batch of cupcakes and after I frosted them I placed a Peep on the top of each one…they looked adorable and festive for the season.

Oh…here’s another question. Do you prefer the chicks or the bunnies when it comes to your Marshmallow Peeps? We’ll eat both!!!
