Sundae Sauces from Sundaes Best Hot Fudge Sauce

March 20, 2012 by Shelly

Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Sundaes Best Hot Fudge Sauce who makes some really unique flavors when it comes to gourmet hot fudge sundae sauces. Right now they are celebrating their 10th year in the business and now have a total of 10 delicious hot fudge sundae sauces.

The generous folks over at Sundaes Best sent me 4 jars of hot fudge sundae sauce to review for all of you. We were super excited about doing this review since we love to make homemade ice cream and were looking for some new gourmet toppings.

First up is the Chazzy’s Cherry Hot Fudge Sauce which is the perfect blend of cherries with dark, sweet, smooth chocolate.  My husband loves everything and anything that has to do with cherries so I knew this would be the first sauce he picked…and I was right! To use the product you remove the lid & microwave the jar for 15-20 seconds. Then spoon it onto your choice of ice cream. (hubby had vanilla bean). Hubby said the hot fudge sauce was very good and he loved the blend of the cherries with the chocolate.

Next up is the Russell’s Landing Raspberry Hot Fudge Sauce which is the perfect blend of juicy sweet raspberries mixed with smooth and delicious chocolate. My mother and my daughter were all over this jar and chose this one for their sundae topping. You microwave it for about 15 seconds and then just spoon it on your ice cream. It can also be used as a fruit dipper or drizzle some over your favorite cake or pie as a delicious topping too!

Next is the Addy Campbell’s Caramel Hot Fudge Sauce which is the perfect blend of sweet buttery caramel mixed with smooth decadent chocolate. This is the sauce I went for during our sundae making party. I warmed it up in the microwave for 20 seconds and let me tell you…I spooned a lot of this onto my vanilla bean ice cream! It has a wonderful smooth texture to it and is sweet but not overly sweet. OH SO GOOD!

Finally, no sundae making party is complete without some good old-fashioned classic hot fudge sundae sauce. When we were all done enjoying our fist bowl of ice cream we went back for seconds and most of us went for the original hot fudge sundae sauce this time. This sauce is made from their 50+ year old secret family recipe that contains semi-sweet chocolate with pure cane sugar. Just like the previous sauces you can microwave it to get it warmed up and at the proper consistency. This sauce tasted so fresh…like I had just stood there and made it myself from ingredients from my cupboard. Everyone who tried it loved it! It is sweet, smooth and decadent!
