A few days ago I went out to a local home supply store to look for some new residential address plaques and didn’t find any that we liked that were in our specific price range. After a very frustrating shopping experience I decided to just go home and to shop for some bronze address plaques online.
I am really particular on the style of address plaques that I want since I am buying new ones for three homes (one we live in and two are our rental properties). The home that we live in is landscaped and decorated in a coastal theme so I would love to find a silver metal or white-washed address plaque for that home.
Then we own two other homes that we currently rent out to some great tenants and both of those homes are in a brick colonial style so I need address plaques to go nicely with that particular style of home.
After doing some browsing online I finally found a store that sells whitehall address plaques and decided to go with those for two of our three homes. I am still looking for an address plaque for our main home and will probably have to get a custom one made for us since I haven’t found any to go with a coastal style beach home just yet.
I think having nice address plaques outside of your home is very important as it adds nice curb appeal to your residence and helps others to locate you when your house numbers are large in size and easily identifiable.
After we are done with this project we will be moving on to some new landscaping at all three of our homes.
