Making an ottoman that will survive the Terrible 2’s

I had to throw out our old ottoman a week ago. It’s not that we were redecorating or anything. It’s just that my daughter had completely destroyed it between spilling food and finger paint all over it. No matter how many times I told her to be careful on the furniture, she let that slip from her mind and commenced spilling all kinds of stuff all over the ottoman.

One thing about this ottoman I want to make, though, is that it has to be made with spill proof fabric that will survive the Terrible 2’s. When I was online looking up some of that spill-proof fabric, I ran across some info on HVAC in Gainesville, FL and after I looked through the info I decided to get them to replace our system.

I found some stylish fabric that promises to be spill proof, I’m just hoping that it will actually be spill proof. Or else, I’m going to have to reupholster or buy a new ottoman again very soon. I guess we’ll just have to test it.
