Life Insurance – A Must Have In Today’s Economy

March 12, 2012 by Shelly

This coming June will be 4 years since my uncle’s passing and what a wild ride it has been since he left us here on Earth. You see, he had been married to my auntie for 60+ years and we all thought he had planned ahead for their future, we were wrong!

He got sick during the last 2 1/2 years of his life and his medical bills almost wiped them out and once he was gone, there was no money left. My uncle did not have any life insurance plans and left her totally broke. I have no idea why he never got family insurance coverage because if he had, auntie wouldn’t be in the position that she is in right now.

Since his passing our entire family has had to pitch in and help auntie pay her bills, transport her from place A to place B (she doesn’t drive at the age of 87), help clean her house and so forth. It is a big task and our entire family is trying to do what we can since auntie wants to remain in their home until her passing.

I wish my uncle would of taken the time years ago to get some cheap life insurance quotes and then he could of purchased some whole term life insurance. That would of certainly helped her out now that he has passed on. A life insurance plan certainly helps in such a situation and you can shop for life insurance quotes at Affordable Life USA.

With all of that said, it taught my husband and I a very valuable lesson and I can assure you all…hubby and I both have extensive life insurance coverage. We are not going to leave our family with the burden that my uncle left on my auntie.

If you don’t have any life insurance coverage yet…I encourage you to shop around and try to find one to fit within your budget. It is important, you and your family deserve to be protected.
