Spring break is around the corner, and with it comes partying students! Popular destinations include tropical getaways and sunny cities, but how prepared are the students when it comes to taking care of themselves? Below is a checklist of items that spring breakers should have on-hand to make sure they make the most of their time.
Sniff It Away – It’s inevitable that you will get a cold on the plane. A study from the Journal of Environmental Health Research showed that colds may be more than 100 times more likely to be transmitted on a plane than during normal daily life on the ground. Grab Cold-EEZE, which uses zinc ions to block the cold virus from attaching to the cells in your throat, so you can stay healthy for your trip.
Sun Proof Yourself – It’s tempting to stay in the sun to get that gorgeous caramel skin but excessive and unprotected sun exposure can lead to skin cancer. Get sun-kissed with bronzing lotion, or if you will be outdoors, make sure to lather up on sunscreen. Try Naila MD Skin-Perfecting Moisturizer, a three-in-one moisturizer that boasts SPF protection, hydrating properties and a light, sheer tint.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! – Drink lots of water to make sure your body is good to go for a day in the sun. Regular water can be boring, so try HINT Water, all natural essence water with no sweeteners and nothing artificial.
My Review: I received my own “Spring Break” package to review for all of you. Inside my special package was: (1) box of Cold-EEZE Cold Remedy Lozenges (1) Cold-EEZE Homeopathic Oral Spray (1) bottle of Hint Mango-Grapefruit Unsweetened Essence Water (1) bottle of Hint Pomegranate-Tangerine Unsweetened Essence Water and (1) tube of Skin-Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 by Naila MD, Luxury Medical Skin Care.
My packaged arrived at the perfect time because during the week of March 5th, hubby and I were both sick with colds and sinus infections. We both started with the Cold-EEZE lozenges right away and over the next couple of days we “sucked” on a lozenge every few hours. I was pleasantly surprised that they tasted pretty good (lemon lime flavor) as I was expecting them to taste terrible. They didn’t cause us any type of gastic problems or other side effects either. I wish we had these sooner as I feel they really could of helped reduce the duration of the colds we had (I think we started them too late as we were on day 3 of the colds). I am saving the Cold-EEZE Oray Spray for the next round of colds that come our way.
I love to drink regular water and flavored waters so the Hint flavored waters were all mine and I wasn’t sharing them with the hubby. (he can get his own!). I got to try the Pomegranate-Tangerine and the Mango-Grapefruit. Both were delicious and if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the Pomegranate-Tangerine.
I received a nice 1.7 oz. sized tube of the Skin-Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer w/SPF 20 by Naila MD which is a luxury brand of skin care products. This product gives you sheer tinted coverage which helps to even out your skin tone. It has a nice weightless, smooth finish and it didn’t feel heavy on my face at all. It’s oil-free moistrizers will help to keep your skin feeling hydrated all day long. The SPF 20 protects against skin-damaging UV Rays. I love that this product is Paraben-Free with no clumping to it’s texture. Light and airy and I think it’s a fabulous product!
Well…spring break is finally upon most of us now here in the US…are you ready for it? If not, I think you should go out and stock up on the products mentioned above so that you are ready to enjoy your spring break this year.
I would like to thank the PR company that we work with along with the companies who sent the products to me for participating in this super fun Spring Break review.
