Cafe Well: The Social Network to help you get fit and to stay healthy

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of CafeWell for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Today I would like to talk to you about the great social networking site for people who are looking to get fit and to stay healthy, called CafeWell. This fantastic social site is part of the Get Well and Stay Well network of sites. CafeWell is bridging the gap between health plans and their members by providing valuable information, encouragement and challenges to their registered members of the site.

They provide information, motivation and encouragement from Olympic Athletes, Nutrition Experts and a variety of Fitness Experts to help you get onto the right track to good health. All of this information and services is provided FREE to members so head on over to CafeWell today and join!

CafeWell has now partnered up with Altius, one of our nation’s leading health providers to challenge members to wear wireless pedometers to help motivate them to get off the couch and to increase their physical activities. This particular program is called Reach for the Peaks and I think that is a fantastic program, as that would certainly motivate me to get more physical activity too!

Often times when members participate in these challenges they will receive various rewards, including recognition on the CafeWell social networking site. In addition, you will have the support, encouragement and motivation from all of the other CafeWell members too! How cool is that? Totally cool!

Here are a few testimonials from current CafeWell members:

“I am absolutely thrilled with this motivating program.”

“So today I am taking a step forward to get off the couch and to become healthy. I am overweight, underpaid and not so full of energy. I know if I think I can, I CAN and I WILL.”

Do any of you belong to CafeWell and if so, what do you think about it? I am thinking about joining as I could use the encouragement and motivation to get up off my own couch and I think having a few buddies there to help support me, might be just what I need!
