Our Review: Today we are reviewing another great DVD from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment for all of you called “Awesome Adventures: Rescue Friends”. I wasn’t sure if grand-wee-one would be into this DVD since she is a “girl” and it is generally geared towards boys ages 2-5 years of age. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that she loved the DVD just as much as our 4 year old god son.
The DVD has 6 fun-filled episodes and I love that they are approximately 10 minutes in length each. That is a great length for preschoolers like grand-wee-one. All 6 of the episodes had great funny story lines that all had an educational twist to them. In some of the episodes your wee ones will learn about sharing, caring, teamwork, mistakes and how to overcome them, etc. These are all values that we appreciate in videos that the grand-wee-one watches.
Out of all 6 episodes I would say that the kids liked the Bob the Builder ones (there are 2 Bob the Builder ones) the best, although they liked all 6 of them. The graphics are fantastic and the storylines are top-notch. A great DVD to add to your little one’s video library.
