When it comes to beauty, teeth are just as important to looking and feeling great as your cosmetics and beauty routine. Having great looking, white teeth can really help enhance how you look to others and how you feel overall. Not everyone is blessed with great teeth, but thankfully there are more and more affordable solutions becoming available for helping when using a dentist is out of the question. Teeth Whitening products are one of those solutions.
Whitening Lightning has fast become one of the go to products for easy to use, at home teeth whitening kits and solutions. They have several different, affordable ways to whiten your smile.
I was sent one of each of their products to try for you. The Whitening Kit, the Super Booster Whitening Pen and the Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss. I first tried out the Whitening Kit. This is very cool as it contains everything you will need to whiten your teeth several shades lighter in 20 minutes! There is enough product in there for 3 applications and you can buy refills on their site too! Following the directions, which were kind of hard to read because the print was so small, I used the shade selector and determined that my teeth were between a 3 and 4 on the range. I use whitening toothpaste every day that has helped keep my teeth a bit whiter than they used to be.
I then rubbed my teeth with this little cloth to dry them off and get them ready for application. I then broke open a cotton swab the was loaded with Vitamin E and ran it over my gums. (I actually had to cut it open as it would not break). Then you take this little syringe that is full of the whitening agent and squirt some into a tiny cup and paint it on your teeth. That was weird. Finally you take the ultra violet light and place it into your mouth and hold it there for 20 minutes.
There are several steps to this process and the instructions make it seem longer than what it really takes so read your instructions first so it goes quicker. The hardest thing about this is holding that light in your mouth for 20 minutes. My jaw starting hurting a bit so I would hold the light with my hand and then use the teeth holder to hold it in place. You also tend to drool a lot. LOL I think that is from the whitening agent working on your teeth so be prepared with a small towel.
To me their was no offensive taste at all. I thought it would taste terrible, but I also made sure I did not swallow anything either! I had a tiny bit of tingling and no sensitivity at all! I was a bit concerned at first, but I felt nothing.
After the treatment, I measured my color enhancement and it was about a 2 I would say. It was very hard to get good pics and since the difference was minimal in my case, I couldn’t tell much. I then applied the Super Booster Whitening Pen. This was so easy to use! You just dry your teeth and paint it on your teeth. Let it dry for a minute and go to bed. That is it! It has a slight mint taste and in the morning, I brushed my teeth and took a look. I was happy to see that some staining I had on my bottom teeth was gone and my teeth looked very nice! I love this pen. You can use it nightly to slowly change the color of your teeth and used in combination with the kit, you get a power packed treatment.
The Color Your Smile Lip Gloss is a nice boost of color for your newly whitened teeth. The color I got was Icicle and it rocked. The pink was the perfect color and the tube was super cool. It has a mirror on one side and then when you open the tube there is a light inside so you can apply your gloss in the dark. Love this!! It was not sticky and had a great shine. The Color Your Smile Lip Gloss also has a lip plumper and moisturizers inside so your lips look and feel great all the time!
I am going to keep using my Super Booster Pen and do another kit treatment in a few weeks. I am going to see if I can get my teeth to a 1! I think this is Awesome and it is great for maintaining those white teeth! I am also going to share the kit with my hubby who could use a treatment too.
