Shopping for Modest Dresses for Spring 2012

This past weekend I headed out for some shopping fun with a few of my girlfriends as we all were on the hunt for a few new Modest Dresses to update our spring 2012 wardrobes.

We visited about 8 different stores during our shopping trip and could only find one or two dresses that we liked. You see, we are all in our 40’s and are not into the low-cut, tight-fitting, mini skirt style dresses that look great on teenagers or women in their 20’s. As “more” mature women we want to find pretty, stylish and modest fitting dresses which are more figure-flattering for us at our middle age.

After shopping we headed for a late lunch and as we were sitting at the table waiting for our food to arrive we came up with a new shopping plan. The following day we were all going over to my friend Renee’s house for brunch and a girl’s only online shopping party! We knew that if we all got together and shopped online that we could definitely find what we all were looking for. The “shopping date” was set and we were all excited about it.

The following day when we were all together we took turns on Renee’s computer shopping for the items that we wanted. It was really fun to shop for dresses, skirts, handbags and shoes online, and it was really cool to get everyone’s opinion about the items we selected before putting them into our online shopping cart and purchasing them. Once we get our packages delivered to us…we are all going to get together again and have our own little fashion show which will really be a lot of fun!

We had such a blast with our online virtual shopping party that we are thinking about doing it again in the very near future.
