Today I would like to introduce you to the artist and jewelry designer named Jorie Tonkinson who owns a jewelry shop called Ocean Sage. If you love sea or beach theme’d jewelry you are going to love the items that Jorie makes and sells. She takes great “care” making each and every piece that she sells.
When you shop at Ocean Sage you will find beautiful sea glass jewelry, pearl jewelry, gemstone jewelry and jewelry made with Swarovski crystals. I love anything and everything that has to do with the beach so I was really excited to be doing this review on jewelry from Ocean Sage.
My Review: Jorie sent me a beautiful natural sea glass necklace to review for all of you. The necklace that I received has 6 colorful pieces of sea glass cascading down to form the pendant which measures approximately 2 3/8″ in length. The pendant is strung onto a white leather cord that is adjustable so it can accommodate many different necklines and I love that it has a lobster claw clasp. (easy to get on and take off). All of the metal work on the necklace is Argentium Silver which has anti-tarnish properties to it.
I have always loved sea glass and have only been fortunate to find one piece in “nature” myself. Now thanks to Jorie…I own 6 more pieces that I am proudly wearing around my neck. The sea glass stones are super smooth so you do not have to worry about them snagging on anything. I love the colors in my sea glass pendant (cobalt blue, green, aqua, topaz, teal and white).
I have been wearing my new necklace for several days now and everyone has complimented me on it. I love how I can adjust it to fit into the neckline of any top that I may be wearing. The necklace and pendant lay so nicely against your skin or clothing…just love how it drapes around my neck! This necklace is just stunning and my photos are not doing it any justice. It is BREATH-TAKING when you see it in person and hold it in your own hands!
