Today I would like to introduce you to the online store called Saffron Rouge. This fantastic store sells certified organic bath, body and skin care products. All of the products that they sell are evaluated by their staff to make sure that each and every ingredient does what it says it will do and to make sure you are only getting high quality products.
When you shop their facial skin care department you will find cleansers, exfoliators, moisturizers, eye and lip treatments, facial masks, night treatments, oils & serums, sun care products and toners. You will find makeup products for your eyes, lips, face, cheeks and even the professional tools that you need to apply your makeup correctly. In their body care department you will find organic body & massage oils, body balms, body lotions, deodorants, toothpastes and more! They also have an organic bath, hair and aromatherapy departments too. If you have a little one in your life…check out their organic baby products which are a must have!
My Review: The generous folks over at Saffron Rouge sent me 5 makeup products to review for all of you. First up…I received 2 Alima Pure Luminous Shimmer Eyeshadows in pink coral and obsidian, these come in little pots with screw-off lids. You can use these eyeshadows wet/dry, as eye liners or as highlighters. Both of these shades are beautiful and if you love the smokey eye look…get the obsidian shade! The pink coral is a great base shade or a highlighter shade.
Next up is the Volume Mascara by Dr. Hauschka which I received in black. I love the brush that comes with the mascara as it did a fabulous job as separating my lashes and I had absolutely no clumping with the mascara either. I love this jet black shade! I found that this mascara last me all day and I loved that when I used my eye makeup remover it easily came off. I didn’t have to scrub my eyes raw to remove my eye makeup.
The next item I received is an Eye Pencil by Living Nature in the Flax Seed shade which is a warm matte brown. I don’t use eye pencils (I am a cream eyeliner girl) so I gave this pencil to my mother who loves pencils and she loves medium-dark brown shades. Mom has been using it every day for over a week now as an eyeliner on her top & bottom lids and loves it. She said it glides onto the lid smoothly and lasts all day long.
The final item I received for the review was a tube of Lip Whip by INIKA in a beautiful apricot shade which is a perfect neutral shade for all skintones. This lip whip is a very creamy formula that just glides easily onto your lips and leaves no sticky residue. I absolutely LOVE this lip whip! It is great for daytime or evening use and looks so pretty on the lips!
I am very impressed with all 5 of the products I got to review. If I had to pick a favorite it would be a tie between the wonderful Volume Mascara and the fantastic Lip Whip, although all 5 products were awesome!
