NMEDA Helps Disabled People Get Back Onto The Road

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever heard of the nonprofit organization called NMEDA yet? If not, I would like to talk to you today about NMEDA and give you some information about them and how they are helping disabled people get back onto the road.

NMEDA helps consumers buy products find qualified NMEDA dealers. This wonderful organization promotes safe driving and driving equipment for disabled people. They do not sell anything so please don’t look at them as a merchant.

All members who are part of the NMEDA dealer’s network are required to adhere to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s strict rules and guidelines. The actual NMEDA dealers are the ones who sell handicap vans and vehicle modifications to disabled people or to those who take care of disabled people who need this type of transportation.

You can get a personalized evaluation “in-person” so that you are sure you are getting the right product to suit your individual needs because not all disabled people are the same so you really do need a custom vehicle or vehicle modifcation for your particular needs. A NMEDA dealer will work closely with you and your family to ensure that!

NMEDA has Dealers and Quality Assurance Dealers (QAP) and a QAP Dealer is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. You can trust your local QAP Dealer to help you find the exact vehicle or vehicle modification that you need.

As the primary caregiver to my 87 year old aunt, this is something I definitely need to look into because getting her around the town to all of her medical appoints is a hassle and we know it’s uncomfortable for her. You can head on over to NMEDA and use their dealer locator function to see if there is a dealer near you.
