When it comes to my glassware I am a pretty picky girl. I love to host and entertain guests in my home all of the time so, I like my glassware to be pretty, unique and they must be affordable. Today I get to introduce you all to a line of hand painted glassware by a very talented artist named Lolita. The official company name is Designs by Lolita and this company makes some of the prettiest, hand painted wine glasses I have ever seen!
For my review I received a brand new addition to their “Personalize It!” line of wine glasses and the design I received was “Hostess with the Mostest” and it is absolutely adorable! It comes in a cute cardboard canister with lift-off lid so it is ready for gift giving. If I was giving it as a gift I would add a bow, attach a card and I would be ready to go. What makes this wine glasss so special is that it also comes with a permanent marker so that you can personalize it for the person you are giving it to.
I love the idea for this new “Personalize It!” collection and currently there are 6 wonderful designs to choose from. The wine glass is itself is very high-quality and I love the height on it, this is not cheap dime store glass! The artist did a beautiful job at painting the design all over the outside of the glass, stem and base. Around the upper opening of the glass it says “Hostess with the Mostest…We had a Fabulous Time” and on the base of the wine glass is a To:____ and From:____ spot where you can personalize it and you can also write on the glass itself any type of message that you would want.
I will be personalizing mine for my adult daughter who is hosting a 63rd Birthday party for my mother in May. This will be my gift to her as a Thank You for hosting the birthday party. These wine glasses are hand washable so easy care for sure! Lolita the artist sure does have an “eye” for color as I love the color combinations that she used in this particular design. If you truly love unique, beautiful and one-of-a-kind pieces…this company is for you!!! I love this wine glass and I am looking forward to getting a few for myself next!
