Dried Organic Baby Food by NurturMe
Today I would like to introduce you to the organic baby food company called NurturMe, owned by mompreneur, Caroline Freedman and Lauren McCullough. NurturMe’s company philosophy is centered around achieving optimal health and nutritional value for infant’s (“good for me”), while bringing convenience into the lives of busy parents, and reducing the impact on the environment.
The NurturMe product line took 2 years to develop and is the only certified-organic, all-natural, gluten-free baby food made from nutrient-rich, quick-dried fruits and vegetables. The line of organic dried baby food is available nationwide from their web site, Amazon.com, Diapers.com, BabiesRUs.com and Target.com and at several offline retailers.
My Review: We were sent 2 pouches of organic baby food to review for you and we received a pouch of the Sweet Bananas and a pouch of the Plump Peas. Each pouch will make one serving which is equal to a 2.5 ounce sized baby food jar. All of their baby food is certified organic by the USDA. You store the pouches in a cool and dry place at room temperature.
To use the product you simply open the pouch and mix the contents with 3-5 tablespoons of liquid (water, breastmilk or baby formula). Both of the pouches I received are for babies ages 4 months and up. Once it has been mixed up, you will want to store any unused portions in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. If you have toddlers you can still use this product by just mixing the product into pasta or yogurt to give your little one a little extra nutritional boost.
I will be giving BOTH of these pouches to my niece who just had a baby boy a few weeks ago. What I love about these pouches is that there are no wasteful package like glass baby food jars which hurt our environment. In addition, I love that these pouches are easy to take with you while you are out and about doing errands, traveling, etc. They are small and compact and don’t take up a lot of space, and you don’t refrigerate the pouches! yeah! The most important thing about this line of baby food is that it’s made from organic ingredients so you can feel good about feeding this baby food to your child.
We would like to thank NurturMe for sending us the samples to review for all of you and for providing us the information about their partnership with Feed The Children!
