If you have been reading our blog for awhile now you will already know how much I love handcrafted bath and body products and with great pleasure today I get to introduce you to a company called Dragonfly Soaps. This wonderful company is based out of my home state of Pennsylvania and their natural soaps are handmade in small batches to ensure quality.
Dragonfly Soaps sells handmade unscented soaps and a large variety of handmade scented soaps for your bathing pleasure. Their luxurious Shea Butter Soaps are super moisturizing and packed with skin nourishing ingredients like olive oil, cocoa butter, jojoba, wheat germ, almond oil and other fantastic ingredients that are good for your skin.
Shelly’s Review: For this review I received 2 bars of handmade soap in the Bay Rum scent and the Triple Chocolate Mint scent. I decided to use the Triple Chocolate Mint Soap and I left my hubby use the Bay Rum Soap for the review.
The Triple Chocolate Mint Soap is the perfect blend of white chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa powder with some great peppermint essential oil to give it it’s wonderful peppermint pattie scent! (yes folks, this soap smells so good that you almost want to eat it!). The saponified oils of olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter are very nourishing and moisturizing to your skin. I love using this soap as my mourning shower soap as I find the scent to be uplifting and invigorating! I love it’s rich rather and how smoothly it glides across my body. When done it leaves no soap scum or stickiness behind. I absolutely LOVE IT!
The Bay Rum Soap is the perfect unisex soap or a great soap for the man in your life. It has a cool, clean and slightly spicy scent to it. Even though this soap is part of their men’s line I do see women enjoying it too! It is made from saponified oils of olive, coconut, palm and Shea butter and contains bay rum essential oil. Hubby has been using this soap in the shower and he loves it’s rich lather, slightly manly scent and it’s generous size. Not only does he shower with this soap but he also likes it as a shaving soap. He loves it!

I received some fabulous soaps from the Dragonfly folks too. That was so sweet of them to share their awesome goodness with me! I got a Mango Rose Soap which is a lovely bar that is pink swirled with white. I love rose scents and this one does not disappoint. It is nice a light scent. Very Lovely! The bar soap has great lather and feels wonderful on my skin. It is enriched with some fabulous mango butter which makes it and my skin nice and creamy.
I also received the Tangerine Moisturizer Bar Soap. I love citrus scents and this one is awesome! With the extra moisturizing and nourishing oils of wheatgerm, cocoa butter and macadamia nut, my skin felt great after using this. Soft and clean. These Dragonfly Soaps are great and very affordable. Thanks for letting me participate too! I Love them!
