Here in our home you will often find my family snacking on popcorn a minimum of 4-5 times a week! Seriously…the family loves the stuff and I can’t keep enough of it in my pantry to satisfy them. With great pleasure I get to introduce you to Angie’s Kettle Corn today who makes some of the best kettle corn we have ever tasted! They make their kettle corn the old fashioned way in small batches and in real kettles!
My Review: The generous folks over at Angie’s Kettle Corn sent us 6 large bags of kettle corn to try out for all of you. We received: Classic Kettle Corn, Caramel Kettle Corn and the Lite Kettle Corn to try out. First up…the Lite Kettle Corn! Angie’s Lite Kettle Corn has no additives and is made with 4 simple ingredients. It is a good source of fiber, gluten-free and has half the sugar & fat of the Classic Kettle Corn. What I really love about this variety of kettle corn is that it is flavored with sea salt! That’s right folks…here in our home we love snacks with sea salt so this was a huge hit with us!
Angie’s Classic Kettle Corn has no additives and made with 4 simple ingredients…all of which you can pronounce! This classic version is lightly sweetened and lightly salted…the perfect combination of sweet & salty if you ask me! Out of the 3 varieties that we tried…this one was my absolute favorite one! I loved how big and fluffy the popcorn was and well…this one can be addictive as I had a hard time controlling myself around it! LOVE IT!
Angie’s Caramel Kettle Corn is not smothered or drenched in caramel…just lightly dipped (coated) in it so if you have jaw or teeth problems and love caramel kettle corn…you will love this one! Why do I mention that you might ask? Well, I suffer with TMJ and Trigeminal Neuralgia and caramel kettle corn is usually off limits for me…but since Angie’s doesn’t drench their kettle corn in the caramel I was easily able to enjoy it! This one is sweet but not overly sweet. This was my 26 yr. old daughters favorite variety that we tried.
Overall Impression: We loved all 3 of the Angie’s Kettle Corns that we got to try out…matter of fact…I will be purchasing them as we liked them that much! Each variety was very flavorful, delicious and tasted fresh! We give all three of them a big two thumbs up!
