This year hubby and I made a promise to one another to take better care of ourselves so we have been trying to eat healthier, exercise more and we are making a commitment to take some vitamins & supplements to help in areas that we are lacking.
Over the weekend I headed out to our local grocery store to check out the vitamins and supplements and let me tell you…I got a headache in just 5 minutes! How in the world do you even know what to select? There were hundreds upon hundreds of vitamins and supplements (an entire aisle full) and I had no clue on what I needed to purchase. I am sure most of you feel the same way when you take a walk down your nutritional supplement aisle. Just look at my photo that I took, totally confusing for sure!
Today I am here to tell you about a great web site called NutritionPossible who can help take the confusion out of knowing what to buy when it comes to vitamins & supplements. This wonderful web site features content from the great folks over at Centrum and WebMD so it’s content and information that you can trust!
Once over on the web site you need to register and open up a free account. You will then want to click on the link that says “Take the Assessment” and answer all of the questions that they ask. Once you complete this quick & easy assessment they will tell you EXACTLY what type of vitamins and supplements you need to purchase.
It took me less than 5 minutes to complete and since my areas of interest are to improve my bone health and digestive health it told me exactly what type of foods I need to be eating, what types of beverages I need to be drinking and what type of supplements I need to help me improve on both of those areas. I now know that when I hit my vitamin & supplements aisle again at the grocery store that I need to purchase a good multivitamin geared towards a woman of 44 yrs. of age, a Vitamin D supplement and a ProNutrient Supplement. Isn’t that cool? I love that!
The free assessment covers supplements, food & diet and exercise & fitness. I consider it to be pretty comprehensive and I do appreciate that because I want to make sure I am purchasing the supplements that I personally need. Once you complete the assessment over at NutritionPossible you can download a high-value coupon! (Buy any Centrum Multivitamin and get $10.00 OFF any ProNutrient Supplement).
I would like to thank the folks over at Nutrition Possible for helping me to get “unconfused” when it comes to purchasing the vitamins and supplements that my hubby and I need.
