Hubby and I really enjoy going out camping and most of the time we take out our camper but there are some times that we do “rough” it and use our tent.
This year we are looking to purchase a thule bike rack so that we can take our bikes with us when we got out camping. Bike riding is one of those family activities that we all enjoy when we go camping so we need to invest in one that will carry four bicycles at a time.
This year we have planned 4 camping trips with 3 of them being down to the Jersey Shore and the fourth one will be up to the Pocono Mountains this fall which is the best time to head on up to the mountains so that you can see the beautiful changes in the fall foliage.
I really like our camper as it sleeps 6 comfortably but next year I want to get a new one and downsize to a 4 person camper with just one slide-out addition instead of two (which is what we have now). In addition to that purchase we are looking to trade in our one truck and get another one as ours is now 5 years old.
Do any of you like to go out camping? If so, where do you like to go? Do you prefer camping in a tent or do you prefer doing it in a camper? Do you have any suggestions on great camp sites here on the East coast?
