My Review: The generous folks over at Rustico sent me their Leather Parley Journal Book to review for all of you. This wonderful journal measures 5 1/4″ by 6 3/4″ in size. It comes complete with a hand-sewn spine and a buckle or flap-tie closure option. (I got the flap-tie).
Inside the journal are 96 blank 5″ by 6 1/2″ hand-torn pages of cream-colored parchment paper. It comes in 5 beautiful colors: Burgundy, Black, Dark Brown, Saddle and Buckskin colors. I just love all of these colors!!! (I received one in the beautiful saddle color).
This is their best-selling leather journal and I can totally see why! When you hold it in your hands you can tell it is quality made…the leather is super soft and subtle. I think the design is handsome and would work well for both men and women. Since receiving my new journal I have been using it for my poetry. Yes folks, I dabble a little bit in poetry writing and this journal is absolutely perfect for that. I love the size of the journal as I can toss it into my handbag, tote bag, luggage or store it inside my nightstand or desk drawer. The design speaks “Southwest” to me and I just love it!!!
