Bath Soap and Lip Balm from Cahoots Soap Co.
Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Cahoots Soap Co. who makes and sells all-natural handmade cold-process bath soaps, bath bombs, glycerin soaps, fizzy soaks, sugar scrubs and lip balms. These are high-quality bath products but very affordable!
My Review: The generous folks over at the Cahoots Soap Co. sent me 2 wonderful products to review for all of you. First up…a handmade bar of their “Detox Soap” which is a 5 oz. sized soap bar. (generously sized). This soap is for detoxing your skin, naturally without added chemicals. It contains all-natural bentonite clay & activated charcoal and will help to remove impurities from your skin along with the clary sage essential oil to help balance your senses and give you a calming bathing experience. This bar of “Detox Soap” sells for $5.50.
The next item I received for the review is the “Acai Lip Balm” which is a Shea Butter based lip balm that has blended oils in it to help soften, smooth and protect your delicate lips. I love how this is packaged in a little metal tin and I can simply dip my fingertip into it and apply it to my lips. It contains NO petroleum products or artificial colors so it is safe for adults and children. This product sells for $2.95.
I have been using both of these products for about 2 weeks now and love them! I wasn’t quite sure about the soap at first but after I used it I could see why this was a popular product. It has a nice clean scent to it so it can be used by both men and women. I would say that it has a “little” lather but not a lot like most bars of soap. It feels good on the body and rinses away cleanly with no residue or soap scum left behind. The lip balm was my favorite of the two items I reviewed. I have been having dry & chapped lips thanks to the “winter” weather and let me tell you…this lip balm cleared that right up! I love how it’s packaged because I can toss it into my purse, tote bag or even stick it into my coat pocket. This is not a sticky lip balm…it’s a smooth lip balm that feels great on your lips! A great product for those of you with dry or chapped lips! Love it!
