Thirst-Quenching HINT Naturally Flavored Water
We all know that we need to drink more water for our health and well being. I have a hard time choking down all that water after the first glass or so. It is so boring. Let me tell you about a refreshing alternative. It is Hint, a naturally flavored water. Hint has no artificial flavoring, msg or preservatives. It is a wonderful replacement for sodas, diet soda or other sweetened drinks. I’m not a person who likes sweet drinks. I drink my coffee black and my iced tea plain. HINT Water is just great for me because it has the subtle flavorings.
This company, whose mantra is Drink Water, Not Sugar®, was started by Kara Goldin, in 2004, after she wanted a healthier lifestyle and cleared all the junk food out of her house, including her beloved diet soda. Her whole family got tired of plain water so she started slicing fruit into water for just a hint of flavor. After the mother of one of her children’s friends asked where she bought the water her child drank, Mrs Goldin decided it might be a good business to start. Her husband joined her in the business and they took some of their savings to learn about the beverage business. The business took off from there and they now have offices in San Francisco and New York City.
I was sent six flavors to try. My favorite was pomegranate-tangerine. I also enjoyed the strawberry-kiwi. The other flavors were watermelon, blackberry, raspberry-lime and mango-grapefruit. My grand daughter liked the mango-grapefruit the best. The thing I liked the most about this water is that the flavoring was not overwhelming. It is very satisfying when you are thirsty. Stay hydrated!!
