Natural Mineral Makeup from UltraPure Cosmetics

Natural Make-up UltraPure CosmeticsToday I would like to introduce you to the company called UltraPure Cosmetics which has been in business since 2005. This wonderful company sells micro-formulated mineral cosmetics  that contain no harmful ingredients! You will find no petrochemicals, parabens, bismuth, dyes/lakes, sodium lauryl sulfates or other irritating ingredients in the line of cosmetics sold at UltraPure Cosmetics. These are “pure” natural cosmetics with no nasty fillers like other “so-called” mineral makeup companies.

My Review: I have always loved mineral makeup so I was really excited to be reviewing some products from UltraPure Cosmetics. For the review I was sent the Mineral Perfection Set and once it arrived…I got busy using it! Here is what is in this wonderful cosmetic set:

* (1) Mineral Concealer Stick: This is a specially formulated cream-to-powder mineral concealer stick. Great to use under the eyes, around the nose or any where you need to cover up a skin imperfection.
* (2) Flawless Finish Foundations: This is a “pure” foundation that is perfect for sensitive skin, acne skin, rosacea conditions or anyone who wants a beautiful luminescent look.
* (1) Matte Setting Powder: This setting powder adds the perfect finishing touch to your foundation.
* (1) Plush Buffer Brush: This plush brush features a full head of luxurious soft cruelty-free hair.
* (1) Allure Blush: This is a natural and “pure” mineral blush that looks great on all skin tones.

I first want to admit to all of you that I suffer greatly with dark circles under my eyes and have had that issue since my early 20’s. I have been using the Mineral Concealer Stick under my eyes, around my nose (tends to get red) and I use it to cover up a few age spots on my one cheek. I love that this concealer is creamy but dries like a powder. The coverage is absolutely awesome and it looks so natural! The 2 Flawless Finish Foundations I received are fantastic too! I got (1) in the BeachBabe shade and (1) in the Warm Glow Shade. Right now the Warm Glow is perfect for me and once I start tanning in the spring & summer the BeachBabe will be perfect and I can mix the two shades together when I am in between!

I love that they are micro-formulated and they apply so nicely onto your face! There is nothing chunky in them and they are beautiful natural looking shades. After I apply the foundation I do follow that up my applying the Matte Setting Powder which is in a gorgeous “Angel” shade, again, totally natural looking. Some setting powders can feel clumpy and heavy on your face but not this one! It feels light & airy. The Allure Blush is a beautiful mauve shade and it’s one of those mauve shades that looks nice on everyone! It gives your cheeks a nice rosy pink glow. Again, it applies so nicely and smoothly. The brush that is included in this kit is one of the best brushes I have ever owned! I love that it has a little longer handle on it and trust me…those bristles are super soft and not stiff & scratchy like most other brushes. The brush works perfectly with the mineral makeup in this kit…perfect!

As you can see…I am absolutely in love with this Mineral Perfection Set. It has everything I need in one easy purchase! I have even used the blush as a highlighter eye shadow. The shades are perfect for someone with a light-medium or medium skintone. (I am a medium skintone with slight olive hues). I give this set…10 stars out of 10 stars!
