Today I have a great DVD review for all of you Thomas & Friends lovers out there and today my review is on the new “Adventure On The Tracks” 6 DVD Set that was released on December 6th, 2011 from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment. It is available now for purchase for ONLY $29.98.

Our Review: I invited my 2 1/2 year old grand daughter and my 4 1/2 year old god son up for a movie play date with my husband and I and we sat down to watch a few of the episodes with the children. We try to hold 2 movie play dates with them every month so they really look forward to them. I left the kids select which video we would watch and they selected the “Rusty to the Rescue” DVD. In this DVD…Thomas & his friends discover that fun & excitement never end! They watched the adventure as little Rusty sets off where only big, brave diesels dare to go and they were totally glued to the TV. After that episode was done they watched the one about Duke who gets rescued and reunited with Stuart and Falcon. Again, they were totally glued to the TV. Every once in awhile they would whisper to one another but basically…this video totally held their attention and we enjoyed hearing them laugh and smile throughout different parts of the video. Now that we are done with this DVD we will let them select another one from this 6 piece set next week when they come up for another movie date with us.
As with all of the Thomas & Friends DVDs…they are fantastic storylines that are both educational and fun. The animations are fantastic and they really hold a child’s short attention span.
