Here at our home we love seafood…all kinds of seafood and I am always looking for new and easy ways to prepare it for my family. Today I thought I would share my sister’s recipe for her yummy crabmeat casserole. This recipe makes 4 hearty servings.
Delicious Crabmeat Casserole Recipe
1 pint cream (half and half)
1 lb. pimento cheese
1 stick butter
1 lb. noodles
1 lb. fresh crab meat
1 sm. jar chopped pimentos
1/2 lb. sauteed fresh mushrooms
Make sauce by melting cream, pimento cheese and butter in a double boiler. Cook noodles according to package directions and arrange drained noodles in a large baking dish. Spread crab meat over noodles. Add chopped pimento and sauteed mushrooms to sauce and pour over noodles and crab meat. Bake at 350 degrees until casserole bubbles and browns slightly on top (about 35 minutes).
