Hubby and I have been married for almost 26 years and now that we have no children living at home…we really want to take advantage of our “freedom” and do some international traveling the next few years.
One of the places we are considering traveling to is Edinburgh in Scotland. A few years ago we had some friends go over there for a vacation and once they got back…they told us how beautiful it was and how much fun they had while visiting there.
We are not sure if we want to look for hotels, motels, resorts or for Edinburgh Apartments for our lodging accomodations or what just yet but we are considering looking at apartments so that we could stay for 2-3 weeks and it would be more affordable than a hotel.
We were looking into some things to see and do while over in Edinburgh and noticed that they have a lot of theatre houses, music venues, wine vineyards, distilleries, the Edinburgh Zoo, art galleries, museums and of course…the famous Edinburgh Castle! We would love to see all of those things, especially that old beautiful castle!
Have any of you ever visited Scotland? If so, where did you go and where did you stay? We have never visited Scotland so we are looking for some input, suggestions and/or tips. Thanks!
