My Review: The generous folks over at Stanley Home Products sent me a bottle of their G-X Disinfectant Spray to try out for all of you. Since it is cold and flu season here on the east coast…I was excited to try out this product since it will kill viruses, germs, bacteria, H1N1 and so forth.
Directions For Use: Hold container upright and shake occasionally during use. Once you have sprayed the surface allow it to remain wet for several minutes before doing your regular cleaning.
Since this product also states it is good for cleaning mold and mildew I decided to spray it onto some of my outdoor patios so that I could clean them up before storing them in the basement until spring. I sprayed my swing, patio chair cushions, table pads and a few other things with the spray and waited for 10 minutes. I then wiped everything down with very warm water and was pretty pleased with how well everything cleaned up. It took the mold and mildew right off my chair cushions with no problems at all.
It also states that it is good for disinfecting mops so after I was done doing my mopping a few days ago I washed out my mop and while it was still wet I sprayed it down (both sides of the wet mop) and then took my mop outside so that it could air dry. I must admit, when it was done my mop smelled fresh and clean…not nasty smelling like it usually does so I was pretty impressed with that application too!
Overall…I am really impressed with this product. My only suggestion would be to make the print that is on the can (uses and directions) a little bigger so that I don’t need a magnifying glass to read it all. Other than that, great product!
