Natural based eco-friendly lotions and creams are fast becoming a favorite of mine. Less is more when it comes to putting things on my body. I have a lovely lotion that you will be interested in too. Made from the Hemp plant, it has qualities that are not found in other lotions.
In case you didn’t know, hemp when harvested early produces a fiber that has amazing health qualities. Hemp Fiber has many uses including textiles; molded or pressed, woven or knitted, pulp and paper, building materials, alcoholic beverages, alternative fuel and livestock feed and bedding to name a few. It is also a huge food source. There are many reasons to include Hemp Seeds and other Hemp Food products in your diet. They are a complete source of protein, more balance and digestible than soy. They contain more required amino acids (protein) than milk, meat or eggs.
The Lotion I reviewed is from Stoner Couture Body Essentials and is a creamy and luxurious High Intensity Hemp Moisture Hand & Body Lotion. This lotion not only strengthens the skin’s natural moisture barrier, but it also nourishes and softens even the driest skin to restore beauty & radiance.
The 4oz tube is a loaded with thick rich lotion that is smooth and emollient. The lotion soaks right in to my skin leaving it soft and touchable. It contains some beautiful ingredients such as Sunflower Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil and they added some Zinc Oxide to give the formulation an SPF rating of 15.
The High Intensity Hemp Moisture Hand & Body Lotion comes in 2 scents, Patchouli and Unscented. Honestly, I cannot stand Patchouli in the least and even the Unscented had a small bit of this scent in it. It could have just been the one I got was bottled after the scented one, but I am very sensitive to it and could pick it up.
Overall the lotion is beautiful and I love the effects it had on my skin. Stoner Couture also carries a large line of additional beauty products as well as food products. The hemp used in the food products is pesticide free and herbicide free, and has not been genetically modified. Their skin and hair care products are made From the finest organic Hemp Oil mother nature makes and are cast from ancient recipes that have been have tried and tested over time.
