My great aunt is from Australia and has lived there for many years. She is getting up in age and is having difficulty living by herself. The difficult part is that she lives there alone and has no other family around. It has now fallen on the family to try and figure out a solution that is best for her long distance.
One of the first things we started looking for was a Removal Company to get some quotes on moving her into an assisted living home or complex. But hiring a company sight unseen can be difficult. Luckily we found this site that has many listings of Removalists so you can get quotes from many different businesses depending on your needs.
It was pretty easy to get those quotes for her. Now we are looking at having to try and convince her to move from her home! So far she is refusing. Our next option is going to be to try and move her back to the States so she can be closer to relatives so she can get the proper care. But that would involve a International Removals company and the cost would be a factor for sure.
Trying to impress upon my aunt that a move is for her best intention , finding someone to handle her Removals is going to be the easy part!
