My Review: The generous folks over at Learning Resources sent me the Pretend & Play Pro Chef Set to review for all of you. I knew as soon as this product arrived that my 29 month old grand-wee-one would squeal with joy once she saw it and trust me…the excitement and squealing continued for a good 15 minutes once she saw it! Here is some info about the Pro Chef Set.
The set comes with a deluxe stock pot, 2 pot lids, a saucepan, a skillet, a spatula, a spoon, oven mitt, 4 pieces of plastic play food (chicken leg, fried dippy egg, corn cob and a carrot) and a write & wipe activity guide. Everything comes nicely packaged in a box so it is ready for gift giving. The set has a total of 13 pieces and is geared towards children ages 3 and up.
The wee one helped me remove each piece from the box and we got busy playing with her new pots & pans set. The wee one has a play kitchen and various other things to go with her kitchen but I will admit…this is the nicest pots & pans set she has. This set is extremely well-made and I can see how it would last for years! All of the pieces included in this set are perfectly sized for little preschooler hands so she had no issues playing with this set. She had a wonderful 3 1/2 hour long play date with Nanny and Pappy cooking us up all kinds of foods and she was having the time of her life playing with this set. Since receiving it…it has become one of her favorite items! The set is great for helping children with their creative play, motor skills, counting, colors and is just a lot of fun!
Overall Impression: We absolutely love this Pro Chef Set from Learning Resources! We have absolutely no negative things to say about it. It is extremely well-made, well-thought out, perfectly sized for toddler hands and it will give your wee one hours upon hours of fun play cooking time! This is a top-notch, high-quality product! We recommend this company and their products to you!
