Working from home is sometimes very hard to do. I lose track of time and before I know it, it is after 2 and I have missed lunch. Too late for a full lunch, I am always looking for something quick, easy and healthy to make so I can keep knocking out my work.
I was introduced to a company that produces organic, gluten-free frozen soups that are low fat and I thought this would be a great solution to my lunch issues. Created by Kettle Cuisine, these all natural soups are packed in great little bowls and frozen. They come in a variety of flavors. They produce 10 different flavors that are available in convenient, single serving bowls and can be found in your grocer’s Natural food freezer.
I was sent 5 different soups to try and tell you about. I received the Chicken Chili with White Beans; New England Clam Chowder; Roasted Vegetable Soup; Thai Curry Chicken Soup and the Three Bean Chili. I do not eat fish or curry so my mother in law volunteered to sample those for me.
I started with the Three Bean Chili and enjoyed it. My very first impression was that it did not taste like frozen food. Usually frozen foods have a weird taste and texture to them and this did not. It was fresh tasting and you could tell it was a natural product. YAY It did have a kick of spice to it which I liked.
The Vegetable and the Chicken Chili were also very good! They have the right amount of seasoning and are rich and filling. My mother in law has the same feeling about the two that she tasted. She said the clam chowder had wonderful flavor and she enjoyed it very much. The Chicken Curry soup did not have too much curry which can take over the flavor of the food if you put in too much, so she was happy.
Overall, we think that these would be a great addition to your freezer for quick lunches and to put in your lunch pail for work. They heat up quickly and taste good and are good for you. We love that they are all natural.
