There are a few things that a cook needs in her or his kitchen at all time and one of those things is a set of good kitchen knives. When I was younger, I wasn’t particular about what knives I used to prepare food so most of the time, it was used as tool to open packages. LOL Now that I am a wife and mother, making good food means I am cutting meat down, prepping veggies and using my knives all the time. You really do need a good knife for each particular job!

I have heard a lot about black ceramic knives but had never used any prior to this review, so I was really excited to be able to test these out. I was sent the Precision Set that includes one 5″ Utility Knife and one 3.5″ Paring Knife. My two favorite sizes I use on a daily basis!
The knives are packed in a gift giving box and the knives are well cushioned for protection. What I noticed first was that besides being gorgeous, the blades did not appear to be sharp in the traditional way we check out a good knife. Don’t get me wrong, these blades are sharp, but you are not going to cut your finger when you run them across the blade lightly as we do to check the edge. It is cool!

The handles are made with comfort grip technology and they fit nicely into my hands. With little hands, sometimes I feel knives aren’t the right feel or fit for me, so that is important to have the right control and let the knife do the work, not me. I really like the black blade. They clean easily and will not stain.
I used the knives during meal prep the other day when I was preparing dinner and they worked very nicely and I had no issues cutting through the chicken or other items I used for the food prep. I really liked using these knives!
